To this end, we are launching our End of Financial Year Appeal (EOFY) with a match challenge of $75,000 from many of our pro bono law firm partners.

Right now – across the country – many thousands of people seeking refugee protection remain stuck in limbo, subject to systemic injustices which violate rights and endanger lives. And tear families apart. They need our help.

The ongoing fight for justice and freedom must continue through our direct legal action for many and strategic litigation for systemic change.

We continue to advocate fearlessly for urgent, major reforms, including:

• Ending deportation to danger without due process
• Ending deportation from Australia to permanent exile in Nauru
• Creating real opportunities for families to reunite here
• Ensuring enduring protection in Australia for all people held in Papua New Guinea and Nauru, as well as those brought back here
• Establishing a safety net of support for all in need
