New match donation by our major pro bono law firm partners – doubling your impact

We’re delighted to advise that the Peter McMullin and The Good Business Foundation match challenge of $50,000 has been reached – and we’re very pleased to announce a new match challenge of $75,000 by our major pro bono law firm partners.  This means your tax-deductible donation will continue to be matched dollar for dollar until 30 June – and your impact doubled.

Donate NOW to double your impact

With this, profound thanks to our pro bono law firm partners who include: Allens, Holding Redlich, Maddocks, Lander & Rogers, DLA Piper, Hall & Wilcox, King & Wood Mallesons, Wotton + Kearney, Colin Biggers & Paisley, Rigby Cooke Lawyers and Hive Legal.

This match-funding by our pro bono partners will help us to defend to the end the rights and lives of people seeking our help, including right now the sudden surge of interviews – without notice – for more than 1,100 people seeking protection under the Fast Track process.

Amidst constant crises facing people seeking protection, through our work so many people continue to be granted protection, freed from detention, evacuated to safety, better protected from family violence, or have had their residency restored.

We simply could not continue to rise to these challenges without the partnerships and collaboration of our pro bono partners. Ultimately, so much of our work is powered by these partnerships – and the will of the community for decency and justice.

Thank you to the many donors who have already donated to our End of Financial Year Appeal. You’ve helped us to meet the generous dollar for dollar match of $50,000 provided by Peter McMullin and The Good Business Foundation. And profound thanks again to this long-time supporter.

If you haven’t already, please consider giving to our Refugee Legal End of Year Appeal.  Your donations will be matched by our pro bono partners up to $75,000 until 30 June – doubling the impact of your gift.

Let’s, together, do all that we can in these turbulent times to ensure that vulnerable asylum seekers, refugees and migrants are cared for and protected.
