Donations matched dollar for dollar by Peter McMullin and the Good Business Foundation until 30 June

Sunday, June 14 2020

Amidst the pandemic, so many asylum seekers and refugees in our country face a continuing crisis – their vulnerabilities have only deepened. So too has their need for critical legal help.

In this context, midway through our End of Financial Year Appeal, Refugee Legal has received a leading gift from our friend and supporter, Peter McMullin, and the Good Business Foundation.

Through the Good Business Foundation, $50,000 has been provided to match gifts – dollar for dollar – until 30 June. In effect, this leading gift doubles the real value and impact of your generosity.

DONATE and DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT

Thank you to Peter McMullin and the Good Business Foundation for the $50,000 match available until 30 June.

We are enormously grateful to Peter and the Good Business Foundation for this added encouragement to be generous, especially in a year when ‘crisis’ and ‘unprecedented circumstances’ have become part of our everyday conversation.

Your valuable contribution to Refugee Legal at this time of the year makes a real difference to what we can do to ensure vulnerable refugees and people seeking asylum get the legal help they need in the coming year.

Refugee Legal is committed to providing an enduring solution for refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia.

DONATE and DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT to help us help refugees who deserve a fair go before the law and the chance to build a better life in safety.

If you haven’t already, please consider giving to our Refugee Legal End of Financial Year Appeal . If you have already given – our sincerest thanks.

All tax-deductible donations will be matched by the Good Business Foundation – dollar for dollar – up to $50,000 until 30 June.

As ever, we will put your donation to the direct benefit of refugees and people seeking asylum in what are the most difficult of times.

Yours sincerely,

David Manne
